Post-lymphoma and Liposucction.
Feb 8, 2003

Hi Dr. Dezube, two years ago I had a AIDS-NHL (non--Hodgkin's lymphoma)in my left armpit, received surgery, radiation and CHOP , I'm under Tx. with Protease Inhibitors and my breast has increased so much making me feel really bad. Do you think liposuction of my breasts is contraindicated? thanks

Response from Dr. Dezube

Congratulations on getting through the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. I don't think the liposuction will have any negative effects on your lymphoma. If you wish to have the liposuction done, then you have may blessing
