abnormal swollen belly after a post operation HIV advanced May 30, 2001 I have a swollen belly from a post operation. They stated it was fluids and would go away. My question: will Medicaid cover the expense to repair my belly? Operation was performed on Nov 99. Thank you , Orlando |

 There really shouldn't be a problem if the surgery is medically necessary and not elective. I suggest you talk this over with your doctor. Your doctor/hospital billing department should be able to contact Medicaid to comfirm that the procedure is covered before you have the operation. | ||||||||
