How can we minimise hiv related complications?
May 20, 2014

Hi nielson. My fiance, 28 this year, is recently diagnosed with hiv. We are living in Asia where hiv us stigmatized and not covered by any insurance. We can afford the medications for now (atripla) but I m terrified after reading the elevated risks of cancers n other vital organs diseases (where we have no money or insurance to treat).

Do you have any suggestions of what we can do to prevent that happening?

Response from Mr. Vergel

I do not know what country in Asia you live in, but here is a list of non profit organizations there that could help her get treatment:

Asian HIV/AIDS Organizations

I wish you luck. Please let us know what you find out.

Nelson
