|Egrifta - Covered?
Apr 24, 2013
I hope all is well! I am currently on a Ryan White program in Florida and per what my case manger says, Egrifta is not covered. Is this true as this could be seen as cosmetic or it simply is not covered under Ryan White?
I've done some research, but so far no answers.

Egrifta can be obtained free of charge with a prescription if you do not have insurance. You can go to Egrifta.com to find out more about how to apply. Your doctor will have to want to help you by filling out the required forms.
Egrifta works for some patients but not others. It works very slowly at decreasing visceral fat and you have to inject it every day under the skin on your belly. Egrifta Patient Support Information Now Available
